Shared university halls

This is the most common student accommodation for new students. All bills are included in the price and there are plenty of spaces to socialise and make new friends. Here’s what shared university halls typically include:

  • 24-hour security
  • laundry 
  • free WiFi
  • local shops
  • standard bedroom
  • shared bathroom
  • washbasin (your own bedroom sink with shared bathrooms)
  • en-suite, family rooms/flats
  • a bed and a desk
  • storage for your clothes (drawers and wardrobes)

In shared university halls, you even have different catering options to choose from. These include:

  • self-catered: you can cook whatever you like, whenever you want
  • catered: meals are prepared for you at scheduled times and you don't have to wash up
