There’s so much to do in Newcastle during your time here at university. That’s why it will be one of the most special experiences of your life. Newcastle University international student Anselm, from Mumbai, shared his personal experiences and something that surprised him.

Anselm studies geotechnical engineering at the prestigious School of Engineering, with professionally accredited and research-focused courses. The School has over 100 nationalities all coming together to share their passion for engineering.
For him, Newcastle is special because of its engineering heritage. For example, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge is one of his favourite parts of the city because of the amazing way it’s engineered.
